Grand Hotel Velingrad

Our stay at Grand Hotel Velingrad was magnificent. It was the first time we had visited this hotel but we will definitely go back. The cleanliness throughout the entire hotel – rooms, SPA, restaurant, was remarkable… The room – spacious, clean, and with a breathtaking view from the terrace. The SPA centre is gorgeous; there are enough swimming pools to prevent crowds. The food was delicious. I highly recommend it!!!

I had stayed at the Grand Hotel Velingrad several times, but never in the summer. I was really impressed with the large outdoor swimming pools, the spacious areas around them with lots of tents and lounge chairs which allowed me to feel comfortable in spite of the large number of guests. Cleanliness was top level, as always. Special safety measures were in place due to the pandemic – the chambermaids entered the rooms only upon request, the areas around the swimming pools were disinfected every morning, guests were required to use disposable gloves to pick their food from the buffet.

Exceptionally polite and friendly staff. Breakfast was phenomenal. Cleanliness was top level. Although the hotel was full to capacity, there was enough space in the SPA zone and around the pools. All facilities in the SPA zone were functional, unlike in other hotels.

The hotel was superb! The staff was very kind and observed the necessary safety measures. My husband and I had a very relaxed holiday and felt comfortable the whole time. The swimming pools were very clean and excellently maintained.
